January 19, 2023

On Friday, January 6th, the Boys’ Varsity Basketball team played against Greenfield Central at home. Both teams warmed up in the shirts worn under their jerseys.
Before the game even started, the cheerleaders were there, pumping up the student section with stunts and chants.
Before the game began, both teams shook hands and greeted one another in a show of good sportsmanship.
The student section was lively, cheering on the players with chants and shouts, especially during the free throws.
The Marauders, during the first few points, played it safe, trying to strike when the time was right versus whenever they could. This strategy proved helpful, as they scored the first few points of the game.
The Marauders continued to fight through the game, leading in the first quarter and matching pace in the second.
Although their efforts were valiant, the Marauders narrowly lost 46 to 51
