Paris & Madrid: EF Tour

Duncan Schiller, MVC writer

In 2024, a group of MVHS students will have the opportunity to travel to France, Spain, and possibly Britain. The travel company Education First provides trips for students in over 50 countries.

The trip will span eight days, during which the group will be visiting landmarks, famous structures and parks as part of a guided tour. They will then have the chance to explore a bit for themselves, to find things that may have been left out of the guided tour segment.

During the trip, individuals will be given the option to take additional excursions in other areas, for a more in-depth experience. Some of the special excursions that one can participate in are a Flamenco dance show in Spain, a visit to the Palace of Versailles in France, and a river cruise on the Seine. These special tours are not mandatory, so if one wishes to just have free time to explore, or hang out with friends, then they can do so.

The trip is open to all current 8th-12th graders in the Mt. Vernon school district. For more information, please contact Mrs. Schiller or Mrs. Stindle. Students can also check out the trip website: www.eftours.com/2568450jd
