It was during the 3rd quarter when all of a sudden Buccaneer’s wide receiver Antonio Brown ran shirtless through the Jet’s endzone, giving hand gestures to the crowd as he exited the field. The Buccaneer’s were down at the time of Brown’s exit and he appeared to be upset.

Antonio Brown was in his second season with the Buccaneers after winning the Super Bowl last year. In the seasons before that, Brown had dealt with minor controversy and suffered injuries, preventing him from playing. Brown has for the most part, always been an outspoken individual, having had prior altercations with former teammates.

However, none of them led to him ultimately leaving a team.

Buccaneer’s coach Bruce Arians stated in a post-game interview, “He is no longer a Buc, that’s the end of the story. Let’s talk about the guys that went out there and won the game.”

Teammate Tom Brady also said during his own interview, “I think everybody should hopefully do what they can to help him in ways that he really needs it, we all love him. We care about him deeply. We want to see him be his best, and unfortunately it won’t be with our team.”

This was in reference to the past problems in Brown’s career, Brown is also said to have been dealing with mental health issues.

As of now, Brown was released by the Buccaneers and many of his fans have given their wishes and hope that he finally gets the help they think he needs. According to ESPN, days after the incident, Brown had an MRI that showed he had broken bone fragments, a ligament torn from the bone and cartilage loss. It also seems he is hoping to rejoin another team for next season.
