“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” Review

“Venom: Let there be Carnage” is amazing, but not perfect. “Venom: Let there be Carnage” is the sequel to “Venom,” which was released in 2018. This movie continues the story of Eddie Brock and his symbiote, Venom. On top of that, the story introduces a new villain, Cletus Kasady, and his symbiote, Carnage. This movie has great action, acting, and cast. This movie made 102.1 million dollars at the box office, which is not too bad.
This movie is great. It has a good story, amazing CGI, and awesome music. But the movie is, well, weird.
One issue with the movie is that it is really short. It is only 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I just wish they had a little more to give us. The movie also reminds me of a romance, comedy, and drama all wrapped into one, which is too much at times. It reminds me of the Twilight movies. Venom and Eddie have this very awkward relationship. They go through arguments and even breakups in the movie, almost like a toxic couple. It would be fine if the movie wanted to be a romance, but I do not think that’s the case.
I give this movie a 7 out of 10. It was a Venom movie without Spider-Man, so obviously it is going to have some flaws, but this movie is significantly worse than the first. There is less action and more filler. I like the movie, but it had so much potential and should have been better.
