Boo Bash!

Going to Disney’s Halloween Celebration, Boo Bash was amazing. It started at 9:00 pm, and ended at midnight. This was a special ticketed event.

When my family arrived at the Magic Kingdom, everyone was leaving, and it was pretty chaotic. We got in eventually though, and it was great. There were about 10% of the normal people in the park, and it was a magical experience.

There was free water, popcorn, Mickey bars (Ice cream bars), and ice cream sandwiches. I tried them all (including the water), and I liked the Mickey bars the best. There was also specialty merchandise available, along with specialty food and drinks like apple cider.

There were shorter wait times for rides, and the wait times were often a lot shorter than displayed for the most part. Normally, ride times at Disney are pretty long, but at Boo Bash we never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride. To put this into perspective, me and my cousins finished the entire ride of Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin before our parents finished using the bathroom.

There were also cavalcades, which are mini parades, with a single float and based on characters. We watched the “Nightmare Before Christmas” and the “Maleficent” floats, and the second one was a clockwork dragon that actually breathed fire.

There were also Halloween decorations everywhere, and there were candy stations too, which people could get candy from. In one of the lines I did a funny fake Russian accent, and one of the workers answered with one too, and that was hilarious.

I really liked the lower temperatures, which was heavenly in Florida. During the day, when we were visiting parks it was always above 90 degrees, which was awful.

To sum it up, it was a really fun experience, and I would totally do it again.
