The Mt. Vernon High School Fine Arts Academic Team made it to State Finals. The state-wide results were released on April 18, which determined which teams would go to State.

Fine Arts has been to State for the past two years. This is their third consecutive year to make it to State.

The team members on Fine Arts are Sophie Frank, 10, Alyson Godwin, 11, Sydney Godwin, 11, and Joan Lee, 12.

The top seven schools in each class were chosen for State, and MV was fourth out of seven.

Originally, the results were to be released on April 17. They were delayed due to challenges at the IASP Academic Super Bowl Area competition. There was a need to adjust scores based on the challenges.
