Weather Update

The weather in Indiana has been all over the thermometer for the past few weeks.

First of all, the polar vortex hit Indiana full force. The temperatures were all in the negatives, and with the wind chills, the temperature was around -30 degrees. In some areas of the state, the temperature felt as if it was -50 degrees.

Later that week, the temperature increased dramatically, reaching into the 40’s and 50’s, and even touched into the 60’s on Saturday. In some places, there was an almost 100 degree increase between temperature at the beginning and the end of the week.

Also, the weather this week is going to freezing rain on Tuesday to another high of 60 on Saturday.

The weather has been all over the place, and it is a pain for sinuses. It’s hard to know whether to wear a light jacket or a heavy parka.
