With the closing of the Strait of Hormuz, gas prices have started to rise all over the United States. The closing of the Strait led to one of the biggest gas price jumps Indiana has ever seen. The price jumped 40 cents overnight. The most common price in late April was between $4.79-4.99. During late April the prices continued to go up and down slightly, but towards the start and middle of May the prices started to go down to between $3.49 to 3.99
These are just the price for unleaded. Diesel and premium have gone up significantly with premium gas prices between &5.82-6. With the Strait closing there seems to be no end in sight of having high gas prices.
