The energy drink brand Alani has come out with a new flavor, Lime Slush. Just like the other Alani energy drinks, the Lime Slush drink contains 200 milligrams of caffeine.
I recently drank the Lime Slush Alani. The first time I had this Alani, the lime taste was so powerful through the whole entire drink. It is not one of those drinks where the flavor is only in the first few sips and then becomes watered down at the bottom of the can.
The drink tasted a little sugary which is really interesting considering that Alani energy drinks have zero sugar in them. However, it does include sucralose and acesulfame potassium, also known as artificial sweeteners.
This drink also contains vitamins B5, B6 and B12. These vitamins release coenzymes into the body to support the nervous system and give people the energy they need. The vitamins, B6 and B12, help with one’s cardiovascular health. They reduce homocysteine levels, so a person does not end up shaking or have heart problems after drinking Alani.
I really liked this drink because it was a way to enjoy a lime taste without the sourness. This energy drink helped me focus throughout the day, even in environments that weren’t quiet settings. It gave me the energy I needed without any effects after drinking it.
I would recommend this energy drink to a student or an adult who may need the extra boost of energy or focus to get work done for a whole day.
