What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. This famous place in Nevada has a lot going on. There are lots of different attractions and many places are within walking distance. Las Vegas offers multiple things for families to do.
The Vegas Strip is a location that holds multiple hotels, restaurants and shops. Its easy access and close proximity to some of the more famous hotels makes it very popular. Along the Strip, there are hotels like Paris, The Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Elara, New York, New York, Caesar’s Palace and The Bellagio. Along The Strip, as well as inside the hotels, are a variety of restaurants.
Each hotel is unique and has fully built malls with different architectures, representing different cities. Paris, New York, New York, and The Venetian are some of the most popular ones and rightfully so because they replicate their renowned destinations so well.
One of the most famous hotels is The Bellagio. There are botanical gardens located within the hotel. The marvelous decorations are entirely made out of various flowers and plants. During the spring, there is a carousel, multiple birds and even a ballerina all entirely made out of flowers. However, the botanical display changes from season to season. Also inside, there are many high end shops such as Gucci, Dolce and Cabana, Louis Vuitton, Channel, Prada.
Another well-known attraction is the fountains that sit directly in front of the massive hotel. In the evenings, the fountains come to life and dance to music. The fountains are choreographed to pop and classical songs. This entertainment takes place every 15 minutes after eight pm. The fountain shows officially start at six pm, but they aren’t as frequent until 8 pm.
MGM Theater is where lots of the entertainment happens. Although the hotels have their own theaters, the Cirque du Soleil shows at this particular theater are very popular. There’s “Ka,”which is only held at MGM Theatre. Other Cirque du Soleil shows are “O,” “Mystere,” and “Alegria.” The shows feature various warriors that tell stories through elaborate stunts and acrobatics.
The theater also hosts lots of other forms of entertainment including concerts. There is even a dance group that is based in Las Vegas called the JabboWazies. There is a hip-hop dance team that hosts lively, entertaining and comedic shows hosted at MGM Theater.
Las Vegas, although it is a popular place to gamble, has many other alternatives for families. It is a very fun place to spend a vacation. The feeling of boredom is almost nonexistent because there are so many exciting activities to do and see.
