California has always possessed a certain energy of freedom, I think one can still feel today. I believe California is still brimming with the laid back 1970s culture that makes one want to be behind the wheel of a vintage convertible while their hair blows in the wind and music plays.

If one is planning on visiting Los Angeles, they will feel the vintage vibes right away. A perfect way to start a day in LA is the La La Land Cafe, an aesthetic coffee spot with fun combinations, like a banana cloud latte.

After that, I recommend going shopping at The Grove. This mall has some of the prettiest scenery, and lots of greenery. I definitely recommend checking out the Brandy Melville store. I think their clothes definitely fit the California aesthetic, and most of their items are 100 percent cotton for fairly good prices.

The Nordstrom store also has a really cute selection of Jelly Cat stuffed animals and a cute cafe, so it is definitely worth checking out.
Any LA trip would be incomplete without seeing the Hollywood sign, and it is definitely worth the hype. I recommend hiking a close distance to it to get some good views or pictures. Visitors can also view the Hollywood sign from the iconic Griffith Observatory. The surrounding park area is also beautiful and lush, which is perfect for a picnic.

For some more beautiful views, I recommend taking a spin through Mulholland Drive. This road has some beautiful views of the hills and the city skyline, and there are lots of places one can pull their car over and look. Any film bro will also appricate this road inspiring an iconic David Lynch movie name.

Another iconic drive I recommend is the Pacific Coast Highway. One will get the chance to drive right up against the ocean and get to see all the pretty cliffs and the colorful wildflowers.
I recommend making a detour to San Diego. The San Diego vibe is a little bit more laid back and beachy compared to LA, but still has some fun sights.

San Diego has beautiful and less touristy beaches, like Laguna beach, with lots of little coves and caves perfect for exploring and playing mermaids. There are also many strips with small restaurants and boutiques I recommend checking out.
Overall, there is so much to do in California, I would recommend a trip to anybody.
