Wawa is the best gas station in Indiana and there are a plethora of reasons why. First of all, Wawa consistently has the best gas prices when compared to other gas stations in the area. During the week of April 6th, Wawa’s unleaded regular gas cost $3.90, while the Speedway just across the street had gas cost $4.17. They also have a large spacious fueling area with quite a few pumps.
Not only does Wawa excel with their lower gas prices, but the interior is always clean and well maintained, while being inhabited by helpful and extremely friendly staff. The staff is also very swift and diligent at fulfilling orders, requests, and any issues brought to their attention.
Wawa also has a large selection of drinks, snacks and candies. Their variety is wider than the average gas station, and even incorporates their own brew of sweet tea. Wawa’s menu is varied and contains items such as shakes, coffees, sandwiches, wraps, and burritos. Many of them are made in house and can be ordered at any time of the day, any day of the week due to the fact that the kitchen is open twenty four hours.
The speed at which orders are completed is also impressive and makes for a quick, but solid meal or snack. I visit Wawa about three times a week and personally, there has never been a visit where the kitchen has run out of ingredients or a certain item can no longer be made, no matter what time of the day. The prices for food at Wawa are also very fair and feel proportionate to the quality of the product. For example, their $6 meal deal includes a decently sized sandwich, bag of chips, and a small drink.
The portions and sizing on drinks and the food are fairly generous. There is always an abundance of lids, straws, utensils, and on every personal visit everything has been well stocked.
As far as gas stations go, Wawa emerges as the cleanest, most fairly priced, welcoming and highest quality gas station.
