NovaOnline is an internet personality who has reached fame through various videos he has uploaded on TikTok. He is what users refer to as a “LOLcow,” also known as a person “milked for laughs.” Nova is an individual who can be related to other similar LOLcows such as ChrisChan or TophiaChu, whom Nova has much beef with.
Nova’s story begins when he was a child, where he established a YouTube channel under the title MagicWizurd. Here, he uploaded game playthroughs, although with little commentary. This channel proved unsuccessful, but it laid the groundwork for his future career in video content. It was clear in these early days that Nova was looking to become internet famous.
Nova is perhaps most famous for one particular video that became incredibly popular on TikTok. The video featured Nova reviewing a sausage breakfast burrito, and halfway through the video, he removes his jacket to reveal a “Sailor Moon” outfit underneath. The TikTok became popular due to the absurdity of the video and Nova’s personality in general. The main aspect of hilarity was Nova’s appearance, because it is obvious that his hair is unkempt and he appears ungroomed.
Another video of Nova’s that became popular was an old clip of him working at a restaurant in Idaho, in which he hollers the words “Can I get a French onion soup please?” The News station on which this clip appeared was a segment about the minimum wage of the state he lived in. The owner wanted to increase his worker’s wage. However, Nova was fired from said job in June 2023, presumably due to his bad work ethic.
Nova is generally considered to be a problematic individual because of interest in talking to underaged children on the internet, with one of his most infamous platforms being Discord. He was caught talking to minors in a Discord server that he owned in an extremely inappropriate manner. One of his worst moments was the fact that he was outed for being into age play, a kink that revolves around adults typically portraying themselves to be much younger than they are. This is one of the primary reasons that his grooming allegations became widespread on social media platforms such as TikTok.
Recently, he has been on a self-proclaimed weight loss journey, as he has stated he feels unhappy with his current weight, and that he will be giving an update in February of 2026. Critics of Nova believe that this claim is false, due to the fact that in videos released after this, he has been consuming sugary drinks and fast food for views on his TikTok account.
Another controversial topic that has risen about Nova is his change of username from NovaOnline to TheNovineUniverse, which he has stated to due to the ‘bad rep’ his old username has given him. YouTube commentator SmokeyMC believes this is a tactic to remove himself from the grooming allegations he received, so people might forget he is a pedophile and start with a clean slate.
Overall, Nova is still active on social media, where he is attempting to push down his past rather than own up to his mistakes and take time to work on himself.
