The Melting Pot is more than a restaurant; it is a whole experience. Every time I go, neither the food nor the service is disappointing. From cheese, to entre, to chocolate, there are a few I come back to.
My favorite way to start the meal off is the Green Goddess cheddar, but I also also enjoy the regular Wisconsin cheddar, which is the base of the Green Goddess cheese. The Green Goddess cheese is creamy and full of flavor. It is my favorite menu item.
I also love the fiesta cheese, especially because it comes with tortilla chips on the side that the other cheeses don’t have.
No matter which cheese I get, my favorite dipper for the cheeses is the soft pretzel bread. It is perfect for soaking up huge amounts of cheese.
For the main course, I usually go with the steak lover’s entree. The steak tastes so good in the cooking broth. My favorite steak is teriyaki, but the thin-sliced pepper steak is amazing as well.
It should come as no surprise that I love dipping the steak into the Green Goddess sauce, which definitely takes the steak to the next level.
Now it is time for dessert. The original chocolate fondue, with extra peanut butter, is my favorite way to end my meal. The chocolate is great with the soft, rich pound cake dipped in it, I also love to dip the banana slices and the strawberries.
Overall, the Melting Pot offers many different options. I believe the Melting Pot has something for everyone.
