Midland Arts & Antiques Market is an antique store in downtown Indianapolis. It is open every day from 10 a.m. to six p.m. except Sunday, where it is open from 12 to five p.m.
There are a variety of vendors that sell any vintage items one could want. Each booth has its own style and aesthetic. This makes visitors want to see everything, because they never know what they may find.One thing Midland sells a lot of is wall decorations. This image shows one vendor, who offers old, authentic artwork prints that can be upwards of hundreds of years old.There are also multiple booths from small, local artists and woodworkers. Along with the artist featured here, there is another experimental booth on the first floor filled with photo collage art. The first floor also has extravagant pieces of furniture for sale that would be perfect for displaying vintage items found here.The most unique thing about Midland is the fact that it was started in an old, run-down warehouse. The outside has not been changed, and only the first and second floors are being used.Because each vendor has their own specific style of item they sell, any shopper will be able to find something that they like. The booth’s aesthetics range from mid-century modern to farmhouse.While some antique stores are smaller and can only fit so many items in each vendor, Midland is gigantic. This allows for people to sell pieces of furniture and larger decorations. If someone is looking for furniture to fit their home’s vintage feel, this is the perfect place.The second story of Midland is even more full than the first floor. Each booth is crowded with smaller antiques. Many vendors also sell clothing upstairs.
