Cleaning a room can either be super relaxing or super draining. Some people enjoy being able to deep clean and refresh their room, the place that reflects them. Others dread the day when they have to go through all their stuff and clean. Either way, cleaning a room can be made easy and even fun.
The first thing to do when cleaning a room is to determine whether it is going to be a deep clean or a surface clean. If it is a surface clean, it is way easier to get started. First, start by making the bed. If there are things on the bed, put them away into drawers or wherever else the things need to go. Secondly, pick everything up off the floor and put it away. After cleaning everything off the floor, move to the closet. Closets can either make or break the cleaning experience. Some people tend to stuff everything inside the closet. So, if the things that were on the floor happened to find their way into the closet, relocate them and put them away where they are meant to be.
When doing a deep clean, it is best to do all of the things in a surface clean first. Then, move on to drawers and more specific places. When going through drawers, take out things that have not been used or worn in a while and move them towards the front of the drawer. When a person wears clothes, they will often keep repeating the same outfits because they are in the front of the drawer. The clothes that are not being worn slowly get pushed back to the back of the drawer because, when the other clothes are being washed, a person does not put them in the back of the drawer after folding. When doing a deep clean, it is also smart to take off the sheets of the bed and wash or replace them. Replacing a pillow case is also smart because a dirty pillowcase can give a person acne.
Cleaning rooms might feel like a chore, but with these tips and tricks, hopefully it will not feel as daunting. It could be just a five minute clean or it could be an hour-long clean, but either way it helps reset the mind and leaves a person with a clean slate.
