Beats or Airpods? That’s a question that has plagued the minds of people for many years, some people say they enjoy the experience of Beats better and others say Airpods are the one for them.
According to a student at Mount Vernon High School, Logan Clark, he prefers Airpods, stating that, “Airpods have a more luxurious feel to it.”
Analyzing both wireless headphones, it seems that Beats have the better quality according to Macey Crofts, “Beats are like noise canceling headphones, they make me feel like I’m in another world.”
However, Airpods have more buyers, according to pocketnow.com after surveying over 4,220 people, 34% of them use Airpods, while 15% of them use Beats. There are few distinct differences in these devices that pull users towards a certain product.
For example, while both have amazing sound quality, Airpods are not as loud or noise canceling as Beats, while Airpods also tend to push more sound to one ear than the other. Beats have more battery life; charging them to full battery only once lasts days, charging the Airpod ear pieces fully lasts only a few hours, while the charging case that goes with the Airpods lasts a few days.
Airpods are comfortable and are easy to wear, while Beats start to become uncomfortable after a while, leaving slight aching of the ears. Since Airpods reside in your ears and not around them, they are perfect for working out, outside activities, and other things that call for constant motion, all while Beats slide off of your ears with movement, making physical activities hard to achieve.
The pros and cons of both vary, as they are both very good products, and can be used by anyone. Beats are better in quality and battery, while Airpods are better in comfort and correctly staying on in the ears.
