German Club is starting back up this year. The meetings will be held in Mr. Mitchell’s room, A212, during SRT every other Thursday starting September 6th.

The club is focused on celebrating German culture and food. The leaders are Rex Snow, Angelina Metcalf, Elizabeth Ahonen, and Clare Bielefeld.

“German Club is a great place to come and learn about the German culture,” said Metcalf, 11. “This year, German Club plans on taking a trip to the Heidelberg Haus to enjoy some German food. We also plan on having guest speakers to share their experience in Germany. We will have food at meetings to help expand people’s taste on the German culture We will learn some history about Germany, and learn some of the German language.”

The members are planning meetings to learn about German culture and meeting other people.

“German Club is an enjoyable experience,” said German Club member Reese Powell, 11. “You get to meet new people and learn about different cultures.”

Anyone interested in learning about German food, culture, and traditions should come out to the next meeting.
