Although the school year is almost over, the Mt. Vernon boys’ track season is just now in full swing. At the Hancock County meet on May 4, the boys placed 3rd out of 4 teams.

The sectional meet took place at Mt. Vernon High School on May 17th.

“A good amount of people moved on and everybody competed really well,” said Brent Donaldson, 11. “Coach Kendall knows what he’s doing, so we’re having a good season.”

The team placed 4th out of 13 teams, and many have moved on to regionals.
