Not a trivial fundraiser

On February 13, the baseball team is hosting Trivia night to raise money for their equipment, travel expenses, uniforms, and paying volunteer coaches. Kinsey’s will be providing dinner at 6:00 pm with the trivia competition starting at 7:00 pm. It costs $10 for students and $20 for adults. Up to eight people are allowed on each team.

“Trivia Night is the single greatest night of the year,” said Mr. Carr. “ It’s bigger than the Super Bowl and the Oscars and the Indy 500 combined. They should come to it because it brings the community together, it’s a fundraiser for the baseball team, and it’s the best trivia in the world and/or universe.”

There is a cash prize for the winning team. The prize is a 50/50 split of the money that is made at the event.

“Also, students won the 1st place cash prize last year ($200+). That made a lot of the teachers mad. They accused the students of cheating, so there’s kind of feeling like there will be payback this year. The teachers are coming strong,” said Mr. Carr.
