At the end of October, Trump released his plan for his first 100 days in office. His plan has three main focus areas: cleaning up Washington, protecting American workers, and restoring rule of law. He also laid out his plan for working with Congress, the main issues being to introduce legislation that would repeal and replace Affordable Care Act, fund the construction of a wall at the Southern border with a provision that Mexico will reimburse the U.S., encourage infrastructure investment, rebuild military bases, and promote school choice.

He has several new policies he’d like to propose on public offices, such as proposing a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress and placing a five year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service.

He plans on starting a hiring freeze on all federal employees, exempting military, public safety, and public health, in order to reduce the federal workforce.

In his speech on his plan for his first hundred days in office, he said that he intends to renegotiate NAFTA, withdrawing the USA from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and removing over two million illegal immigrants from the country.

He also intends to label China a currency manipulator and to identify and end all foreign trading abuses.

“There’s not anything particularly new or revolutionary about this plan,” said Ms. Terrell. “It’s an incredibly conservative plan–it’s not anything that hasn’t been proposed before. It’s impossible to say how it’ll go, but this is what the American people voted for.”

He ended his speech by making an oath that, “if we follow these steps, we will once more have a government of, by and for the people.”

Time will tell if his plan succeeds.
