Blacklight Volleyball was a single elimination volleyball tournament which divided participants by grade. The winner of the class years competed against the teachers. The teachers dominated the night.

“I’m super excited about this new fundraising opportunity. We are well on our way to our goal of $10,000! Hopefully through our fundraisers, Mt. Vernon can get just as excited about fundraising for Riley Hospital,” said Hannah Martin, 12.

This was the first Blacklight Volleyball sponsored by NHS. It was $3 to watch, $5 to play, and $15 for a T-shirt. NHS is sold tickets until the day of the event. All proceeds will go to the Riley Children’s Hospital.

Blacklight Volleyball was on December 16th at 7 P.M. in the main gym.
