On November 3rd, the Mt. Vernon Marauders faced off against the New Palestine Dragons in the Sectional Championship game.

The game started at 7:00 PM; by the time it started, the sun had already set, and so the stadium’s floodlights were used the entire time. Despite it being a brisk night, many people showed up in support of the Marauders.

Of the supporting crowd, the Roberts family, the three rightmost pictured, were the loudest. They helped get the energy up in the student section, and were very vocal supporters.

#30, Joliba Brogan (11), scored the only touchdown for the Marauders.

Despite the Marauders’ efforts, the game ended with a score of 42-6. This marks the last game of the Marauder’s season.
