There are special operating hours on November 22, December 18, December 19 and December 24. There are separate schedules for November and December, and the times for activities are also on the website.
Activities at Christkindlmarkt include watching entertainment at the Winter Pavilion. Special events like Holiday at Carter Green, Holiday Trolley, meeting Sankt Nikolaustag, Pet Night With Santa and German Christmas Carol Sing-Along just to name a few. Werkstatt (artist demonstrations) gives people the chance to meet German artists and learn from them. Kinderecke is a kid-friendly hut where self-guided arts and crafts like making cookies and ornaments are available. There are also character meet and greets where photos with Santa will be available.
Places like the ice skating rink and food booths will be back too. The Kartoffelpuffer Küche (the potato on a stick), and Das Pretzel Haus will bring back familiar tastes from last year. The food choices will be back in their booths. The souvenir booths will also be back like the Lichtermeer which has authentic paper star lanterns, Moravian stars, and candles. There will be a lot of things to do and the event is meant for people of all ages.
