Creating hearts with the wrappers of gum has become a popular craft lately, but unfortunately not all know how to create them. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to create hearts out of gum wrappers.
First and foremost, a gum wrapper is needed. To start, vertically fold the wrapper in half once (1), then fold the corners as one would if they were making a paper airplane (2). The wrapper should look like arrows when this is done.
After those steps are completed, fold the wrapper with one arrow going to the side horizontally and one arrow going up vertically (3). It should look like the hands of a clock if done correctly.
The next step is to fold the longer piece of the wrapper over the shorter piece (4), this is where it should create the
shape of the heart. Sometimes it might look a bit uneven. If it looks that way, adjust it as needed.
With only one more step to go next, turn the heart around to where the two corners were folded previously and fold the ends just a bit to where they are no longer pointy, but flat (5).
If these steps are done correctly and patiently, there will be a nice heart to display in lockers, phone cases and even more (6).
