On October 28 and 29, 2023, there was an airshow that took place over the greater McCordsville area. The Boy Scouts of America hosted the event as a fundraiser. There were several interesting displays open to the event goers, but the loudest were the blue angles.

The Blue Angels are a group of stunt flying naval pilots meant to demonstrate the skill and prowess of the best pilots in the Navy. Their stunts often involve flying in close proximity with other planes traveling over 100 miles an hour. They also create smoke trails using paraffin oil bases and dyes.
The air show could be seen all over the greater McCordsville area and could even be enjoyed by those who did not purchase a ticket.
