It is safe to say, without a single doubt, regardless how much I complain about this game, “Destiny 2” is my favorite video game of all time. Between the engaging lore experience, interesting community, and gorgeous graphics, it is my favorite game. I used to focus on the Warlock subclass. I loved casting spells and being a wizard, grenade-throwing monster. All of a sudden, I had a change of heart. I became a Titan and it has been the most fun I have had in a game in a long time. I, of course, tried all the subclasses, and I am going to rank them from worst to best, including the fun factor involved with each.
If you ask any Titan with even a little bit of a brain, they will tell you the worst subclass, by far, is Behemoth the Stasis darkness subclass. I already did not like the Warlock stasis subclass, but oh my gosh this is way worse than the Warlock one. It is boring, slow and just weak compared to the rest of the subclasses. The builds for this subclass are really the only thing saving this subclass from not even competing with the others. Almost all the Titan exotics for this subclass are trash. Any player that uses or is a Titan, should not touch this subclass.
My next one is Sunbreaker. This subclass is broken. Any Titan using this subclass is usually running a build called “Bonk Titan.” Players essentially run around and hit enemies with their hammers over and over. As long as the hammer is picked back up after throwing it, the Titan can just keep throwing it. I do enjoy playing it as it is easy and not too much to think about while using the subclass. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants a “challenging subclass” to play, but it is super strong and fun.
The next one on my list is the Striker, from the Arc subclass. I love this subclass and just love Arc in general. Throughout all classes, Arc is just a fast-paced, fun subclass to mess around with and have a blast. The only reason this subclass is not higher on the list is merely because I have started to use it less and less with the discovery of the others on this list. I just adore Thundercrash, a super that allows titans to become a rocket and crash into enemies.
My next one is the Void subclass. Wanna feel like Captain America? Use this subclass. Like most Titan builds, it centers around the melee which is throwing shields. This subclass also utilizes really cool exotics such as, “The Helm of Saint-14,” and, “A Second Chance.” It also is just cool to be relied on thanks to Ward bubble. I mean we are using black holes against our opponents. That is just sick.
Strand Berserker is the best subclass for Titans. From my experience, it is just fun all around. It is strong, Titans can use it in different ways, and it is supportive to others on the fireteam thanks to Banner’s of War. It looks really cool too; a green thread that keeps the universe together in the palm of my hand. I do not plan on using this during “Final Shape,” but right now that is all I use. I cannot let go of this subclass.
All these subclasses have their ups and downs, but they are all fun and unique in their own way. Titans punch their way out of every fight. As we Titans like to say, “When in doubt, punch your way out.” Any good Titan can utilize all of these subclasses to fight the good fight. We are the walls of the last city after all. Now, eyes up Guardian.
