State Fair

The Indiana State Fair has come and gone for another year. Many things stayed the same; however, there were some changes. One thing that stayed the same was the food. The fair was full of food stands. People could get whatever type of meal they like.

Another attraction guests could see was a cheese sculpture. It was in a building where people sold fair merchandise and gift shop items.

There were multiple concerts and shows that were new for this year. Music by artists like Taylor Swift and Skillet played on a stage where people could listen to the music for free. The artists’ music was played by speakers, however, they were not there in person. The fair also had a building for butterflies and fish. People could walk around and view the butterflies from outside of their enclosure. The fish were inside the building.

A second thing that stayed the same were the animals. There were pigs, sheep, cows, horses and rabbits. Instead of alpacas and llamas, the fair showed rabbits. Many people loved the rabbits and were very excited to see them.

The fair was a place for people to get exotic food, have fun on rides and see animals they may not normally see. If families or a group of friends are looking for a new activity to do during the summer, they may want to check out the fair next August.
