Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Review
November 28, 2022
Black Panther was created in 1966 and first appeared in the Fantastic Four No. 52. As of 2022, Black Panther has two movies.
Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played Black Panther in the movies, passed away on August 28, 2020 before the second movie, “Wakanda Forever,” was finished. Despite this, the producers did not stop the making of the film and ended up filming the rest of the movie due to the desire of the cast and crew as a way to continue to honor Boseman.
This film had tons of action, as well as emotional scenes. The movie was also very well produced and had some comedy added to it. I feel that they did a great job at making this movie even after Chadwick Boseman had passed. It still gave off the feel that he was there, and it definitely honored him.
This movie has made $180 million dollars so far and got a rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. This film was created by Marvel Studios and Disney and came out on November 11, 2022. This movie is not currently available on any streaming service so anyone who wants to see it will have to go to the theater.
“Wakanda Forever” is mainly centered around Black Panther’s mother and the other women who help her. In this movie, there is a new villain that they have to defeat. At the start of the movie, Black Panther’s sister, Shuri, is trying to save him. The directors decided to include this in the movie due to Chadwick Boseman passing. This scene was very sad to watch and made me feel empathy for his sister and family. They had to protect their kingdom and make sure it does not get destroyed after he is gone.
This movie was very well done and I love how the scenery looks and the vibes it gave off, it lured me in and made me want to keep watching it. I strongly recommend this movie to all Black Panther fans.
