What to expect this Spring
March 9, 2022
2022 got off to a rocky weather start. The Northeast and the West of the United States saw a plentiful amount of snowfall, however, the Midwest has seen less snowfall than it usually does. Thankfully there have not been a lot of drastic snowstorms this winter season so far and everything stayed pretty consistent. But, as winter comes to a close, what will spring bring?
The Farmers Almanac claims that the United States will see a normal-to-warm spring season, with a good amount of rainfall. The Almanac also states that farmers can begin planting their crops early this year. Last year the Midwest and Northeast faced a brutal snowstorm in late April that knocked out a lot of chances for a good harvest of several fruits and veggies. This devastated many people who were looking forward to going apple picking and carving pumpkins.
However, it doesn’t look like farmers need to worry about that this year. The Almanac says people can start cleaning out their pools and soon enough start mowing their lawns. However, be prepared for the rainfall that comes with every spring season, because this spring will be like every other: wet and muddy. Enjoy the sunshine when it comes, because this spring will be beautiful.
