The Eliot Rosewater Indiana High School Book Award is bestowed upon one book annually. High school students all throughout Indiana vote on their favorite books, by rating each book they’ve read from the list. There are twenty-five suggested books for the award. At the end of May, the votes are tabulated by the Rosie committee, and the book with the highest rating is announced as the winner.

The Eliot Rosewater Books, fondly known as the Rosie books, allow students to share opinions and have a say in awarding some of the best young adult novels.
