Looking for fun things to do this fall? Here are a few suggestions of exciting things to do with friends, family, or by yourself.
You can make a trip to a local orchard, like Tuttles Orchard or Larkins Ranch to enjoy many fall delights. Corn mazes are always a fun fall activity. It can even be an adventure to get lost and figure a way out of the maze. Going to a pumpkin patch is always a thrill. You will be able to get a pumpkin to carve and be outdoors enjoying the fresh fall air. Apple picking is a pleasurable way to get clean fresh produce and have fun doing it. Locally, you can head over to Tuttle’s Orchard to get your apples or some delicious apple cider.
Another interesting thing to do is to attend fall festivals or carnivals. These types of events are often super cute and enjoyable and can be cheap too, depending on what you do. This would be a great activity for one or two people.
Reading a book outdoors in the fall can be a magical experience. You can cuddle up in a blanket and watch the leaves fall as you read your book and sip on your favorite warm beverage. Another fall staple is anything pumpkin spice flavored. You can get many types of coffee as well as other things in pumpkin spice flavor.
Doing a fall photoshoot with friends can be a super fun way to get great pictures. You can also visit the sunflowers at Conner Prairie for a cool photo opportunity. This can be an invigorating experience because you can breathe in the flowers and sweet smells of Conner Prairie.
Brown County State Park is the perfect place to see the beautiful fall colors. If you are lucky, you might even be able to see some of the wildlife that thrives in the hilly state park. You can do many interesting things in state parks, such as geocaching. Geocaching is a very rewarding activity. You can search for geocaches anywhere you go, and they are frequently found outdoors, in and around parks or trails.
All of these exciting activities are mostly outdoors, which is always good. You can be safe and Covid conscious while still living life to the fullest. Have fun!
