Need

Reading is one thing I do a lot of. The most recent book I have read is “Need” by Joelle Charbonneau. This novel takes place in Wisconsin specifically with the students at Nottawa High School. The students find a social networking site that grants their every need. The site ends up being full of crime and the body count rises.

I really enjoyed this novel. It is classified as a thriller. One of the aspects I most enjoyed about this book is the way it highlights that teenagers do not often think about their actions. As part of the website, the students have to follow some type of an instruction given. Some of these actions that the students take lead to awful occurrences, and it really made me think about how everything one does can affect others.

“I thought that ‘Need’ was one of the best books I have ever read. It has a great plot and is very engrossing,” said Sydney Ehrgott, 11.

Ehrgott continued, “My favorite part of ‘Need’ was the end when the main plot twist happens and it leaves the reader questioning everything that they have just read.”

I give this novel five out of five stars, and recommend it anyone who likes books with suspense.
