“The Anonymous” is a reality TV series about twelve players trying for a chance to win $100,000. The players are sent to live together and they compete in two parts of the competition. The first part is played in person in the house. Everyone is trying to be nice and friendly with each other. The second part is where each contestant is separated and can interact through anonymous handles. This is the part where everyone’s true feelings come out.
Going into episode one, I did not expect much. Episode one starts off by introducing all the contestants and their professions. I realized one of the girls that is in “The Anonymous” was also in “Australian Survivor.”
In the first episode, people are already lying about their professions and relationship statuses. This show, unlike lots of other reality shows, really shows how two-faced people can be when they are behind a screen. They are so happy and nice face to face, but then they backstab others when they are anonymous.
Overall, I feel like this is a great show and it has lots of potential for more seasons. All episodes of season one are available to watch on Peacock.
