In early November of 2024, Chevrolet revealed their newest Corvette line, including the 2025 Corvette ZR1, the most powerful corvette of their lineup yet. It sports a V8 twin turbo small block engine which produces 1046 hp with 821 ft/lbs of torque and a max speed of 233 mph.
The small block LT7 5.5L dual overhead cam V8 twin turbo assisted by an 8-speed transmission with an 8000 rpm redline will be one of the most powerful engines they have made, allowing it to have a 0-60 in 2.3 seconds and a 9.6 quarter mile track time at 150mph. This, in addition to the ZR1’s lightweight frame and an aerodynamic face with a diffuser and wing setup, active aero, split rear window vent, 10 spoke carbon rims and vents placed strategically around the car to give it the speed and power one would expect from a Z type, allow it to be one of the fastest American production cars ever made.
The interior is no less grand, with a heated leather/carbon fiber steering wheel, Napa leather performance seats with lumbar support, leather-wrapped interior pieces, multiple cameras for increased visibility, a 14-set Bose performance sound system and a convertible set.
The 25 ZR1 will not only be the fastest in its American muscle class, but will also be one of the most luxurious.
