On November 6th, Mt. Vernon’s Prom Committee, MVPC, hosted a dine-to-donate at Wolfies Grill in Pendleton, Indiana. A dine-to-donate describes an event when people eat at the restaurant hosting the event and the restaurant donates a portion of the profits to the organization. In this case, it was supporting Mt. Vernon’s 2025 prom.
“They got a lot of money. It was great to see a lot of administrators, teachers, and young elementary kids attending and supporting the Prom Committee,” said the Senior Leader of Marketing, Emmy Lusby.
According to the Prom Committee’s data, 80% of the people dining at Wolfies were there to support MVPC. All donors had to do to support was tell employees working at the time that they were “here supporting Mt. Vernon’s prom.”
“It went really well and I liked seeing people from the prom committee and outside the prom committee supporting our cause,” said Senior Leader of Fundraising, Emma Gale.
This is one of the many fundraisers MVPC will have throughout the year to support another Mt. Vernon Prom.
