This week is College Go week for the high school. During this week, juniors and seniors can get information about applying to different Indiana colleges. Students can see what colleges they can apply to for free and when the deadlines for those applications are. Some colleges only make their applications free during this week. It is important for students interested in attending an Indiana college to know about these opportunities. This list and other information are emailed to the students throughout the week, so they should look out for it in their inbox if they are interested.
This week also recognizes students who have been accepted into college. They can fill out the MV Wall of Recognition Google Form to show off their accomplishment. This form is open throughout the school year, so anyone can submit their acceptance whenever it happens.
Along with knowledge about colleges and acceptance, this week is also Spirit Week. Students can dress up according to the prompts for each day. This week, Monday is Hat Day, Tuesday is Workout Gear or Sports Attire, Wednesday is Camo Day, Thursday is Neon Colors and Sunglasses, and Friday is MV Spirit Day.
Overall, College Go Week is a good way for juniors and seniors to learn about Indiana colleges that allow for free applications all the time and during the week. If a student is looking to apply to a college in Indiana and does not want to pay a fee, this week is great for them.
