Nails are very fragile. Some people who want to grow out their nails have broken their nails a plethora of times. Some can grow out their nails without trying. Others, like me, have to do a little more.
I have been growing my nails for a couple of years now. I have had trials and errors, but mostly errors. One of my biggest problems was my nails breaking. I went online and tried to find something to help. I tried countless products, but one that worked for me was oil – specifically jojoba oil. Jojoba oil, unlike others that I tried, actually seeps into the skin and leaves my hands feeling soft.
Another thing to help is using a glass nail file. Glass nail files in particular help a lot with making sure the nail does not have any bumps and the nail does not get caught in the file.
If one is having problems with their cuticles like many have, I have found that Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover is really good for getting rid of dead skin. I use it, it feels amazing. I only need to put it on for fifteen seconds then wash my hands and the dead skin rinses right off. If one has sensitive skin or a skin disease, then proceed with caution and check the ingredients.
If an individual wants to grow out their nails really fast, then I recommend taking a vitamin, such as Biotin (vitamin B7). I have used Biotin for a while now. It has made my nails stronger and healthier. Biotin helps give the nail its protein. However, make sure to look into the brand to know what is being put in the body. They should always make sure that they do not compare their nails to others as it takes time to find out what works best for a person.
Nails are hard to grow and there is a lot that could go wrong. But with the right precautions, that will not happen as easily. Always remember it is okay to restart your nail journey.
