Mount Vernon Prom Committee is holding their first annual Color Run on October 5th, at Mt. Vernon High School. Early admission tickets cost $20 and day of event tickets cost $25. All proceeds from the event will go directly to fund the MVHS prom.
Anyone from the community is welcome and encouraged to attend to not only support the cause, but also for some good-fashioned family fun. Participants will wear white and have paint splattered on them. Every participant will walk out covered in their own personal rainbow. Not only that, every participant will leave with a medal.
Participants can pay with cash or checks the day of. They can also buy tickets before using the barcode on the event flyer. Registration for the run begins at 9 AM and the run will begin at 10.

Emma Gale, senior and prom committee member said, “If you want a better DJ this year at prom, show up to the color run to help us raise money.”
