Ryan Reynolds has done it again. In the third, highest budget installment of his amazing “Deadpool” movies, Hugh Jackman returns as the classic character Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds has created, in my opinion, one of the best Marvel movies that have come out since “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
This film was released on July 26, 2024. It was directed by Shawn Levy and the film’s budget was 200 million dollars. Since its release, the movie has made approximately one billion dollars at the box office. Some of the cast members include Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Lesli Uggams, Emma Corrin, and Morena Baccarin.
Firstly, this movie’s fight scenes are awesome. They are beautifully choreographed and the actions the characters do are so fitting to them. Wolverine is an animal, slashing at everything that comes his way. Deadpool ends his enemies in the most brutal way possible while also letting the audience know that he is taking none of this seriously.
The cameos in this movie are insane. Unlike other Marvel movies that have been released like “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” these cameos have an impact on the story and are not only fun, but are worth remembering.
Both the musical score and the licensed music are perfect. The scenes are amplified with songs like “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC, and “Like a Prayer” by Madonna. Additionally, the emotional scenes hit one harder with the added orchestral score.
Overall, I give this movie a solid eight out of ten. It has an amazing cast and an outstanding soundtrack, and it is a silly, fun and hilarious watch. I highly recommend it.
