Jonathan Michael Majors is an American actor who has recently risen to fame, landing the role of the villain Kang in the Marvel cinematic universe. Unfortunately, he had a troubled relationship with his last girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. On December 4th, Jabbari brought forth charges against Majors. They included reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a non-criminal charge of harassment as a violation.
The assault occurred in March during a domestic dispute in a car in which Jabbari saw a romantic message on Majors’ phone. Majors has been convicted and is awaiting his sentence. He could face up to a year in prison for the assault, and another 15 days and a $250 fine for the harassment violation. Majors continues to deny that he is guilty even after being convicted, saying, “That did not happen,” in an exclusive interview with ABC.
This conviction has also hurt his career. Marvel Studios removed the actor from their future projects, including Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Majors was supposed to star in these movies as the main villain, but the scripts are being rewritten because he is no longer involved.
