Enola Holmes 2” came out October 27th, 2022, onto Netflix. This movie continues on from the first movie which is also on Netflix. Enola Holmes is the sister of Sherlock Holmes, a very popular British detective. This movie got a rating of 94 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and is only available to watch on Netflix. The director for both Enola Holmes movies is Harry Bradbeer. Enola is played by Millie Bobby Brown and Sherlock is played by Henry Cavill.

The movie starts off with Enola wanting to start her own detective agency, which she does, but most people do not think she can take on the job, so they ask for Sherlock instead. She meets a little girl, Bessie, who comes and asks if Enola can help find her sister. Enola takes on the case and goes to the match factory where the sisters work to try and find evidence.

Enola’s friend and love interest in both movies is Lord Tewksbury. They met due to similar circumstances in the first movie. Both were on the run and started to bond on the way. She sees him for the first time in a long time towards the middle of the movie. Later he invites her to a ball, but she does not respond. She continues this case and starts to piece it one by one.

She later decides to go to the ball because there are suspects attending. Not long after she gets arrested and sent to a prison. She breaks out thanks to her mother and her mother’s friend. She gets back to working on finding this girl’s sister. Enola tells her brother what she is doing, but insists that he doesn’t help her.

Enola Holmes was directed very well. The setting of where it was and the design of all the buildings made it look like a different time period than ours. The costumes are also beautiful, they look very old and fit the 1800’s look. And I think the people they chose to play each character did a very good job. Henry Cavill was an amazing choice for Sherlock, his acting and his looks really brought the character together. And Millie Bobby Brown was a perfect fit for Enola, she had the accent and the looks it all fits the character very well.

This movie will most likely have another sequel according to the director. Both of these movies contained so much joy and excitement, I hope they make a third one. I rate this movie 10/10 and recommend it to any Sherlock Holmes fans out there.
