On Saturday, November 27, 2021 the Mt. Vernon High School football team made history by becoming 4A State Champions for the first time in Mt. Vernon’s history. Mt. Vernon started and ended strong, finishing with a score of 45-14 against Northridge High School. The team has had an amazing season, only losing one game, and ended it in the best way possible.
