The pumpkin and gourd tower at Tuttles (Piper Todd)

Tuttle Orchards is a local orchard that includes all kinds of other additional activities such as a tractor ride, a corn maze, and a kid’s area. It is open year-round, but its busiest season is in the fall. The orchard has been open for over 90 years and is the perfect destination for some fall fun.

From the pumpkin patch to the apple cider slushies, Tuttle Orchards has all the ingredients to get in the mood for fall. There is a full menu of fall treats available in the cafe like caramel apples, fall-flavored donuts, and various fudges. Additionally, there is a farm store to cover all produce needs with a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The farm store also sells their famous apple cider and a range of other knick-knacks.

If people want to gather pumpkins or apples themselves, there is also apple and pumpkin picking available. The apple selection for picking is smaller this year due to a freeze in the Spring, so they have already run out of apples to pick. At different times in the year, there are also flowers that people can come and pick themselves and a sunflower field for photography. There are several beautiful spots at Tuttles and the tractor rides go around the farm to display some of those places while also playing an audio of the history of Tuttle Orchards.

Tuttle Orchards is full of fall activities and a good option to add more fun to this fall season. From the delicious food to the fun activities, everything about Tuttles right now just screams fall. For more information, visit indianapolisorchard.com.
