Vulengate is a free-to-play Minecraft multiplayer server that is only available for Java edition. I played on this server once in 2019, but grew tired of it. However, they have since added a lot of new features to the server.
One of the features this server has is an in-game money system. Players can earn in-game money by having a job. The jobs they have are: miner, digger, woodcutter, fisherman, warrior, and harvester. Each job is pretty self-explanatory. The miner goes into caves and collect ores and earn money by doing so. Warriors fight mobs and get money. Harvesters harvest crops and other related tasks. Each job pays relatively the same amount, but as the player levels up in that career, they will earn more money. For example, I started as a level one fisherman. I made $34 for each fish, but as I leveled up to 100, I made $100 a fish.
The money that the player earns has endless possibilities. They can buy armor instead of doing the tedious task of mining for it, and they can purchase blocks to build with. The players can also purchase ranks, keys, and shops.
Ranks are what players are labeled as. When the player first joins the server they are labeled as Hobo since they have nothing and no money. But if the player keeps at playing and earning money, they will be able to rank up by purchasing the rank. So as a Hobo ranks up, they will become a Scavenger. The top rank is Immortal, so that is the ultimate status.
Keys are rewarded when the player votes for the server. The creator of the server has a link the player can press in game which will lead them to 3 links. If they vote for them they will receive 3 vote keys With the keys they are able to receive cool and rare prizes. There are a ton of keys on the server as well. Each month they have a new one. The month of October is “Fall” so they have fall themed prizes. One being “denim overall.” They are just very highly enchanted diamond leggings. The player can also receive keys by claiming their daily key and completing daily quests.
Shops are by far the most efficient way to make money in the game. Players can purchase an empty shop and build a store. Then once they build stuff they are able to put things up for sale at their own prices. Once a player purchases something from the player’s shop, the money goes straight to the player. It is a simple, yet highly efficient way to make money.
This server has been around for a few years, and coming back to it recently reminded me of how fun Minecraft is. I got to meet new people and experience Minecraft in a whole new way. I highly recommend trying out this server. The server ip address is play.vulengate.com.
