2020 Tony Nominees

The Annual Tony Awards had to be postponed due to complications caused by COVID-19. The pandemic has ultimately reshaped Broadway as the shutdown is now expected to last until June of 2021. With the world of theatre still at an “‘intermission,” the announcement of the 74th Tony Awards’ nominees sparked a little bit of joy into the lives of actors.

The Tony Awards’ nominees were announced by Broadway actor James Monroe Iglehart, who won a Tony in 2014 for his performance as the Genie in “Aladdin.” Below is the official list of nominees, as supplied by the New York Times.
