The “Flash”

The TV show, “The Flash” has to be one of my favorite TV shows of all time. It is filled with both action and drama. It first aired in 2014 and is currently on air.

The plot revolves around a young CSI named Barry Allen. He first got his powers like super speed, the ability to create vortexes, stealing the speed of other speedsters, enhanced strength when he is working, and much more, when he was working late one night and the particle accelerator exploded, causing lighting to strike him in his chest. This bolt of lightning gave him the power to run up to Mach 3.3, or 2,532 miles per hour, after he came out of his coma.

When Barry is first introduced, it is a younger version of him witnessing his mother’s murder, which leads his father to be convicted of the murder when he did not commit it. He is taken in by his father’s best friend, Joe West, and his daughter, Iris West, becomes his best friend. After he wakes up from the coma, he is introduced to Cisco Roman, Harrison Wells, and Katelynn Snow.

“I’ve seen the show before and it has a ton of plot twists that makes the show enjoyable,” said Gabriella Corrales, 11.

It is a TV show that the whole family can enjoy and it offers delights on to younger and older audiences. Overall, I would rate “The Flash” a 5 out of 5 stars. It is very entertaining and always leaves me wanting more.
