“America’s Dad,” Bill Cosby, well-known for his role in the television show, “I Spy,” and his own sitcom, “The Bill Cosby Show,” is on retrial for sexual assault in Pennsylvania.

Cosby has been in the public eye since 2014 for more than 50 sexual assault allegations. The timeline for these alleged incidents range from 1965 to 2008.

“I believe that Bill Cosby is guilty,” said Tim Amos, 12. “I think the way that these women have described their stories is true.”

One of these stories is that of Andrea Constand. Constand claims that in 2004, Cosby drugged and then assaulted her at his home. She later testified to this in a civil lawsuit against Cosby in 2005.

However, Cosby has repeatedly denied these allegations.

Despite this, the court records of Constand’s 2005 lawsuit against Cosby were released to the public. In these records, Cosby testified that he engaged in casual sex with some usage of the sedative quaaludes, which were illegal during the 1970s.

Unlike Cosby’s 2017 mistrial, the current judge has allowed for more and new witnesses, among these are Constand, who testified at Cosby’s first trial, Chelan Lasha, then an aspiring model and actress, and Marguerite Jackson, Constrand’s former Temple University colleague.

Cosby’s retrial is in a completely different social environment, as the #MeToo Movement is still going strong, unlike how it was in 2005. Indeed, there is a high possibility that Cosby’s retrial may end differently.
