The Marauders swimming and diving teams started out their seasons as of December 6 with boys and girls wins over New Palestine. So far both the girls’ and boys’ teams have gone 2-1. Both the teams won against New Palestine and Hagersville, but have fallen to Greenfield Central.

With sectionals coming up in early February, the team continues to work hard.

“I personally feel like sectionals this year is going to be fun for us.” said Halle Strege, 11. “We have done so well this past year and we all have been training so hard. We all are going to do great and we will work as a team to get where we want to be.”

The boys team has high hopes for sectionals as well.

“We look really strong this year, and I can see us getting second,” commented Tim Amos, 12, “I think we have improved greatly this season, and it’s going to show.”

Overall both the boy’s and girl’s swim teams are hopeful for sectionals, and happy with the season so far.
