The Marauder’s girls’ volleyball season has come to a close as of October 14.

A 3-0 loss against New Palestine marked the last match of the tournament.

“The last match against New Pal brought huge adversity because we beat them in regular season on their senior night so they were really determined and played really well in sectionals,” said volleyball player, Sarah Herman, 12.

Herman continued, “Once the game was over, knowing that we lost brought a lot of grief for a lot of us, especially the seniors. Facing the fact that the season was over was one of the toughest moments as a team.”  

The team had wins as well throughout the season including against Guerin and Lawrence North.

Overall the team went 18-12 for a winning season.
